- The sponsor is a local developer with a geographic focus in German speaking Switzerland, mainly in Zurich metropolitan area. Their main strategy is residential ground up and conversion developments with a track record of CHF 62M GDV development completed to date.
- Their specialty is project development with in-house teams across the full spectrum of the development process. In terms of development size, their focus is in the mid-market with development costs ranging from CHF 5M - CHF 25M.
- The sponsor has an impressive pipeline of new residential projects all across the same area with aggressive expansion plans. They are currently looking to partner with a reputable lender to increase deal velocity and pipeline and move from 4- 6 projects per year to 8 -12.
- Currently they have identified 3 sites with a total project costs of CHF 43.7M and c. CHF 60M GDV that they are looking financing for. The sites are all located in Zurich metropolitan region and enjoy planning permission.
- The sponsor is looking for stretched senior financing that will permit to acquire the site and provide construction funding. The developer will be contributing its own equity in the projects.
