- The hotel was recently built by an Italian developer group. The group is currently under administration after filling for bankruptcy. The company administrators are currently proceeding to the sale of the assets of the group. The bankruptcy occurred in 2019 and is not Covid-related.
- The Sponsor is an experienced local asset manager with an extensive network in the hospitality sector in Warsaw and wider Poland. The sale process for this hotel is expected to start within the next 3 - 6 weeks and the Sponsor is looking for an investor to acquire this unique property.
- The hotel is currently operated by IHG brand and it's fully operational.
- The property has not been formally marketed yet and the Sponsor has great access to the administrator and the process.
- The sale process has already started to gather interest from potential parties and data room has been made available upon signing of NDA. Offers are expected in the first half of October 2020.
- The hotel is fully equipped to high standards with no requirement for refurbishing. Only small branding refurbishing will be required in case the new buyer decides to onboard a new operator.
